About Tersus Solutions
Founded in 2009, Tersus Solutions is a Denver-based company committed to revolutionizing textile care and circularity with its patented liquid CO₂ technology-the most advanced and environmentally friendly cleaning available.
As the backbone of recommerce™, Tersus partners with leading outdoor, athletic, luxury, and footwear brands to provide full-suite textile reclamation, repair, upcycling, recycling, and logistics solutions. Tersus also sets a new standard in PPE care, utilizing its CO₂ cleaning process to offer unmatched care for firefighter gear, far exceeding the carcinogen removal rate of traditional cleaning methods for safer, more comfortable gear. Additionally, Tersus reclaims and recycles down from apparel, bedding, and gear, extending the life of valuable materials and reducing waste.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Junior Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our four facilities. This is a versatile role for someone who likes variety. One day you're fixing a broken door, the next you're helping build out infrastructure for a new production line, and the day after that you're cleaning out an HVAC unit or tidying up the maintenance yard. You'll work directly under our Lead Facilities & Maintenance Manager and support teams across the company. Some travel between facilities will be required, including periodic trips to our remote down processing operation.
What You'll Do
  • General repairs and maintenance across our four facilities (warehouse, production areas, and offices), including drywall patches, door hardware, plumbing fixes, light electrical, etc.
  • Support infrastructure build-outs and projects for other teams, including racking, workbenches, equipment installs, and partition walls
  • Travel to our remote down processing facility to perform maintenance on shredders and other equipment that requires regular attention
  • HVAC upkeep: filter changes, coil cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with outside vendors when needed
  • Outdoor maintenance: yard work, snow removal, parking lot upkeep, exterior building care
  • Trash and waste management, including dumpster coordination and recycling
  • Maintenance yard organization and cleanup
  • Respond to facility issues as they come up, such as leaks, broken equipment, and lighting failures
  • Manage maintenance parts inventory: perform cycle counts, monitor stock levels, order parts when needed, and proactively suggest parts to keep on hand based on equipment usage and wear
  • Track down manufacturer manuals (digital preferred) for our equipment and keep them organized for easy reference
  • Set up and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and internal experience
  • Track work orders, PM schedules, and asset history in our maintenance management software (MaintainX)
  • Build and maintain tracking sheets, checklists, and documentation to support facility operations
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment

What We're Looking For
  • 1 to 3 years of facilities, maintenance, construction, or general handyman experience
  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools
  • Basic troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • HVAC experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with computers, including the ability to build and maintain tracking sheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and pick up new software quickly
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage parts inventory and keep documentation up to date
  • Willingness to travel between facilities, including periodic trips to our remote down operation
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and be on your feet most of the day
  • Reliable, self-directed, and able to juggle multiple requests from different team.
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have
  • Experience with MaintainX or similar CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
  • Experience building or managing PM schedules
  • Forklift certification
  • Welding, carpentry, or electrical experience
  • Experience maintaining industrial equipment such as shredders, conveyors, or processing machinery
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Compensation & Benefits
  • $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • 10 Days PTO
  • Be part of a mission-driven team making a real environmental impact
  • Eligible for overtime
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between facilities

Location
  • Based in Englewood, CO on site
  • Job Type: Full-time

Work Environment

Training provided on leadership responsibilities and advanced footwear cleaning techniques.
