Shifts Available Including Overnights and Weekends / Must be Flexible 

Starting Pay is $30.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidates Must Have 2+ Years of Security/GSOC Experience

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Shift Lead. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator supports the Global Security Management and other business function leaders for a high-profile customer. This role executes the various core functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to, incident recognition/escalation, emergency response, product security, and physical security. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator acts as a partner working closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day to day operations within the GSOC, ensuring all procedures and protocols are followed
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the GSOC team during the shift, including monitoring security systems, handling incidents, and responding to emergencies
  • Update the GSOC Operator schedule; ensure coverage for all openings and callout; notify the Account Manager if there are any open posts that cannot be covered
  • Ensure all GSOC activities comply with local, national, and international laws and client regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify area of improvement
  • Ensure all training requirements are met for all operators; complete training checklists for new hires and when retraining operators
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the GSOC to ensure consistent and effective operations; review and notify managers when changes need to be made to reflect new threats and organizational requirements
  • Oversee the daily monitoring of security systems and intelligence sources feeds; ensure all monitoring and analysis activities are conducted in compliance with client policies and regulations
  • Complete metrics for all Operators to ensure they are meeting standards set by the client
  • Troubleshoot issues with the security applications and work with the system team to resolve issues
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incident response, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including emergency services as necessary
  • Ensure all incidents are properly documented, analyzed and reported

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of technical writing experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable security experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable Global Security Operation Center experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience using CCURE and other surveillance tools (e.g., Genetic)
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
  • Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, Political Sciences, Criminal Justice, or related field of study
  • Technical writing skills
  • Teamwork, coaching, mentoring skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word)
  • Solid computer knowledge and skills, experience working with complex platforms
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Ability to communicate at an executive level, both written and orally, through superior communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high demand situations, often under time constraints
  • Possess working knowledge of current global events and global geography/cultures
  • Ability to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances
  • Ability to follow written policy and procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Military and/or law enforcement experience
  • College degree in Communications, Criminal Justice, or related field of study
