Job description

Plantation Lakes Golf & Country Club and The Landing Bar & Grille in Millsboro, DE is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Landing Bar & Grille. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen organization
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portion control
  • Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist with banquet and special event food preparation as needed

Qualifications:
  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
