Overview

This Manager of Partnerships & Premium Seating will sell and service all premium seating clients at Blue Arena and sell fully integrated sponsorships across the complex that include marketing rights, on-premise signage, event sponsorships, promotions, event marketing, and select media exposure. We are looking for a results-driven, intentional, proactive, and disciplined sales professional who will be a multiplier for the local team, responsible for generating new business revenue with local, regional, and national companies. Compensation will consist of a base salary plus commissionable opportunities upon achieving sales goals.ย 

This role pays an annual salary of $52,500-$62,500 and is commission eligible.

This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Director of Partnerships, General Manager, and VP of OVG Global Partnerships to develop a strategic, sustainable plan to drive premium seating and partnership revenue for the complex.
  • Prospect, sell, activate and maintain corporate sponsorships, advertising and premium seating partnerships for the venue.
  • Work with venue staff and Regional Vice President to implement the goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all corporate sales programs and activities.
  • Regularly engage in the business of making sales, and presentations away from the primary place of business.
  • Design sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners.
  • Prepare advertising, sponsorship, and premium seating contracts and addenda; identify issues with contract language; address issues with and make recommendations for resolution; and negotiate corporate sales pricing and other rates as required.
  • Achieve corporate partnership revenue goals and budgets.
  • Communicate well across all areas of the company, including legal, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations.
  • Meet with corporate partners and outside agencies at their place of work to get all branding created and placed in a timely manner.
  • Interact in a professional manner with all guests, internal stakeholders, partners, and colleagues.
  • Oversee the service of premium seating and corporate partnerships through various means, including direct contact, newsletters, partner gatherings, and client entertainment events.
  • Identify key open categories and assets and prioritize prospective new business leads.
  • Work events on weeknights and weekends and prepare premium seating and partner activations prior to the event.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Renew and grow existing premium seating and corporate sponsorships.
  • Track prospecting, sales, and inventory and manage sales reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, advertising or sports and/or event sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in sales, public relations, business administration, hospitality management, or other related fields.
  • Corporate Sales or Premium Seating Sales Experience within the region preferred.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and retaining clients.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong professional relationship skills; ability to establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with corporate clients, direct reports, and co-workers.
  • Ability to spend time on the road conducting sales pitches to new prospective clients.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders, and other senior executives.
