POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Coordinator focuses on creating marketing materials, coordinating conferences, social media, and working with our business development team. This position will work collaboratively with our senior management and project managers to drive pursuit success and elevate brand visibility. A basic understanding of the sciences is desired, but not necessary. This position does require excellent communication skills, proficiency with marketing and design tools, and someone who looks for creative solutions.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and produce visually engaging and strategically written marketing material for our clients, conferences and general marketing opportunities.
  • Consolidate input from technical teams into clear, compelling narratives, including executive summaries and tailored project or resume content.
  • Support social media and email marketing efforts as needed.
  • Assist with graphic layout and formatting using Adobe InDesign and other creative tools.
  • Maintain and update marketing assets such as templates, brochures, reference letters, and client testimonials.
  • Participate in internal strategy meetings and provide status updates to the Divisional Vice President.
  • Contribute to the development of internal marketing initiatives and promotional materials.


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across decentralized teams.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and marketing best practices
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Constant Contact marketing efforts.
