Desktop Support Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with a strong customer service mindset and hands-on technical support experience. This role provides both remote and onsite support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of desktop-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote and onsite technical support to end users.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Support user account management and access-related requests.
  • Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, migrations, and equipment replacements.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within a ticket management system.
  • Support peripheral devices including printers and other endpoint equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating technical information to non-technical users.

Required Qualifications
  • 1 to 2+ years of desktop support, technical support, or help desk experience.
  • Experience supporting desktop operating systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to hardware, software, and endpoint devices.
  • Familiarity with workstation deployment, imaging, and installation processes.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with incident and service request management systems.
