Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $169,000 plus annual bonus and relocation assistance.
 

Job Overview:

FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager to support our hospital client in Texas. This leadership role will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the pharmacy clinical programs. This includes formulary management, policy and procedure development and education across the healthcare spectrum. The Clinical Manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director or designee is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and oversight of clinical pharmacy programs

  • Optimize formulary management, drug utilization, and education initiatives

  • Serve as a clinical consultant and liaison to healthcare providers

  • Step in as a leader when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable

  • Actively contribute to hospital committees and interdisciplinary teams

  • Monitoring complex drug therapies and providing clinical guidance

  • Supporting initiatives in nutrition, anticoagulation, renal dosing, and more

  • Driving pharmacy quality metrics, reporting, and improvement initiatives

  • Mentoring pharmacy team members and guiding support staff

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Specialties You’ll Work With:
Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, and Inpatient Rehab

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited school (Doctorate preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year as Clinical/Operations Specialist + 4 years in hospital pharmacy

  • Leadership experience in hospital settings highly preferred

  • PGY2/residency or BCPS certification strongly desired

  • Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing

  • Proficiency in Meditech, Microsoft Office, and purchasing/vendor systems
