Job Description:
  • Embrace the appreciation you will receive by developing programs for individuals that include community activities, home care and daily living skills that will enhance their daily lives.
  • Master Communication skills by ensuring continuous communication with others like medical staff, behavioral staff and supervising staff to implement those programs.
  • Improve your awareness and heighten your senses by monitoring the individuals and reporting on their progress.
  • Enhance your writing and reporting skills while learning new terms by completing documentation regarding programming, health and safety, comprehensive assessments, and other areas.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a similar related field from an approved, regionally accredited college or university required.
  • One (1) year of experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year, previous supervisory experience.
  • Valid FL Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
  • Pass a level II background including TB test & drug screening
