Project Duration: 6 months.

We are seeking an experienced HR Transformation Assistant Manager / Manager to support a 6-month transformation engagement within the sports industry. The role will focus on strengthening HR governance, organizational design, workforce planning, HR systems, and people processes while supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and operational frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR transformation and proven experience within the sports sector, preferably football clubs.


Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in HR transformation, workforce planning, or people consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience within the sports industry, preferably football clubs.
  • Strong understanding of HR frameworks, including:
    • HR policies and procedures
    • Competency frameworks
    • Job evaluation
    • Job titling and grading
    • Performance management
  • Experience developing and maintaining HR policy manuals and governance documentation.
  • Experience in workforce planning, workforce analytics, headcount planning, and manpower budgeting.
  • Experience developing HR infrastructure, including SLAs, delegation of authority (DOA), value chains, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience supporting organizational structure updates.
  • Experience gathering business requirements for HR systems and supporting HR system implementations and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience conducting training needs analysis and supporting competency framework development.
  • Experience developing HR strategies, HR roadmaps, KPI frameworks, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Experience preparing HR reports, dashboards, workforce analysis, and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, update, and develop HR policy manuals to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain HR governance tools, including compliance checklists, SLAs, DOA, value chains, and process documentation.
  • Gather business requirements for HR systems and support system implementation, testing (UAT), and rollout activities.
  • Review and update job descriptions, and develop job evaluation, titling, and grading frameworks.
  • Support organizational structure reviews and workforce alignment initiatives.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and support the development of annual training plans and competency frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies, strategic initiatives, KPI frameworks, and multi-year HR roadmaps.
  • Develop workforce planning tools, forecasting models, and support manpower budgeting activities.
  • Prepare workforce analytics, headcount reports, HR dashboards, and management reporting packs.
  • Develop and maintain HR templates, documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Support employee relations initiatives and provide HR subject matter expertise to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver HR transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
