A Manager Flow Assurance is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of oil, gas, or other fluids through pipelines and production systems. They analyze and mitigate risks such as blockages, hydrate formation, corrosion, and deposition that can disrupt flow. Their role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring flow assurance strategies, collaborating with engineering teams, and troubleshooting operational issues. Additionally, they often oversee a team of flow assurance engineers and work closely with project managers to deliver reliable solutions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Manager Flow Assurance?

A Manager Flow Assurance typically requires a strong background in chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering, along with extensive experience in oil and gas flow management.
