Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team and support our continued growth.

This role will be involved in consolidating, reporting and analyzing the segmentโ€™s results. In addition, the Manager will be expected to anticipate the future impact on the results of actions being taken in operations and sales. As a result, we seek a seasoned, innovative leader capable of supporting the strategic growth plan and developing quantitative insights into our business. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be expected to develop and maintain fundamental relationships with company ownership and lenders.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will work with the divisional controllers to ensure that the Companyโ€™s reporting is timely, insightful, accurate and in compliance with Dometicโ€™s financial reporting standards and in accordance with the best practices in financial management.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting
  • Prepare internal and external reporting packages with comparative analysis, the goal of which is to drive greater profitability.
  • Load monthly results into Dometicโ€™s consolidation system and prepare Dometic monthly reporting package.
  • Develop meaningful communication plans to ensure issue resolution, timely elevation and correction take place and works cross functionally to develop and enhance teams and projects designed to drive improvement.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packages, including consolidation of multiple locations to include comparative reports of operating results and financial position and variance explanations.
  • Provide leadership to those associates serving to coordinate and administer the planning and reporting objectives.
Forecast and Budget Ownership
  • Lead the annual budgeting process ensuring that all disciplines are fully engaged and supported such that a timely development of the budget is achieved and communicated to management, ownership, and most importantly, the associates charged with achieving it daily.
  • Create and deploy budgeting procedures, build pro forma financials as well as accurately analyze and model the business.
  • Conduct forecasts and periodic re-forecasts, ensuring that they accurately reflect up-to-date business conditions to permit management to anticipate business needs and results.
  • Perform financial analysis and develop related management reports in support of operational or functional areas.
Internal Customer Support
  • Support the Sales, Marketing and Product Development functions with detailed customer and product financials and analysis.
  • Support the Ecommerce business with regular profitability analysis, including detailed freight cost analysis.
  • Gather and report KPI metrics for each function.
Strategy Reporting
  • Implement reporting systems and data collection tools that allow the business to report and track against Key Strategic Initiatives, allowing for constant updates and dashboard reporting and dissemination.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance
  • Minimum of 1 years of leadership experience
  • Manufacturing experience and consumer product experienceAdvanced Excel
