Overview
The APEX Finance team is seeking a highly motivated, service-oriented manager to help lead financial planning and analysis for APEX Exchange. In this essential role, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, serving as a key contributor to the team's overall success.
The Manager, FP&A will play a pivotal role in overseeing data management and driving process improvements, while also providing the business with ad hoc reporting support. To excel in this position, a keen eye for detail and a proactive, strategic mindset are essential for producing accurate reports and reliable forecasts. These contributions are fundamental to fostering profitable growth and advancing the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee data management and reconciliation processes between Salesforce and Media Ocean to ensure accurate and consistent information across both platforms.

  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning, including the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

  • Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecasts, interpreting results and assessing their impact on future outcomes.

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly reports with relevant commentary to provide insights and context.

  • Further enhance processes by implementing stricter controls to ensure data accuracy, streamline processes, and conduct thorough analyses for continuous improvement.

  • Function as a thought leader on revenue drivers by synthesizing data to develop key performance indicators and support financial decision-making.

  • Perform ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to guide strategies that enhance profitability and accelerate growth.

  • Support month-end close activities and related financial reporting tasks.

Qualifications
  • Highly results-driven professional with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

  • Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting principles, including GAAP, IFRS, Debits/Credits, Revenue Recognition, Accrual Accounting, Financial Modeling, Budgeting, Profitability and Variance Analysis, as well as Financial Reporting.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel for modeling (Power BI, lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups across the agency.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enthusiastic about business and committed to continuous improvement in performance and service.

  • Experience with financial reporting systems (HFM), accounting software (SAP), and media billing systems.

  • 3+ years of Finance/Media Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $120,159.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
