The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact.

Work you'll do

As a Manager on the Modeling and Insights team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Taking a lead role in supporting clients throughout decision-making processes
  • Developing and delivering financial models and supporting analyses for transactions, strategic business planning, and operational decision-making
  • Working with Deloitte's Apex Platform to integrate financial models with enterprise data and technology solutions, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, databases, visualization platforms, and analytical tools, to generate data-driven financial insights
  • Applying artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in financial modeling and financial advisory work
  • Advising clients by using technical and commercial knowledge to analyze, interpret, and communicate actionable outcomes from financial models and data solutions
  • Designing scalable, reusable financial solutions for scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and long-term planning; coordinating with Deloitte subject matter specialists across tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, regulatory, and business functions; and supporting business development activities for the Modeling & Insights Practice
  • Coordinating with a wide breadth of subject matter experts within Deloitte including tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, regulatory and business experts
  • Helping drive overall business development activities for the Modeling and Insights Practice - focusing on both internal and external marketing, industry eminence, and financial modeling service offerings
  • Participating in the development and delivery of training programs

The team
Our Modeling & Insights (M&I) team (a market offering withing our Valuation & Modeling team) delivers clients the confidence to act on strategic decisions by transforming complexity into clarity through financial expertise, modeling tools, data solutions, analytical capabilities and strategic insight.


Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business major
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience
  • 5+ years of experience working for a Consulting Firm or equivalent industry experience specifically working in data and financial modeling, strategic planning, managing client relationships, creating, and delivering client service work that exceeds client expectations, communicating (both written and oral) and presenting complex technical issues to non-technical staff
  • 3+ years of experience in Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python, SQL, or similar tools to build finance-led models and analytics
  • Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Progress toward CPA, CFA, or other equivalent designation


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,600 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
