About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Contracting & Enrollment to lead and oversee payer contracting, enrollment, reimbursement support, and payer communications. This role plays a key part in supporting revenue performance, ensuring regulatory and payer compliance, and improving the efficiency of Revenue Cycle operations.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader and problem-solver with in-depth knowledge of payer contracting and enrollment processes. You'll work closely with internal teams, leadership, and payer representatives to resolve complex issues, improve processes, and ensure our organization remains aligned with evolving payer requirements.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee payer contracting and enrollment operations, ensuring accuracy, productivity, accountability, and compliance.
  • Manage the execution, documentation, maintenance, and renewal of payer contracts in collaboration with organizational leadership.
  • Analyze payer performance, including denial trends, reimbursement, payment timelines, and contract compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to communicate changes in payer regulations, portals, reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, and processes.
  • Lead the resolution of complex payer escalations, including claim denials, authorization barriers, payment disputes, and operational challenges.
  • Manage payer enrollment applications from submission through approval, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with payer-specific and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison with payer enrollment representatives nationwide, including federal payers, while developing strong and effective working relationships.
  • Utilize contracting platforms and systems to maintain accurate contract information and streamline contracting workflows.
  • Develop and present regular payer performance reports, providing leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate the implementation of payer policy and operational changes across departments.
  • Identify training needs and partner with Training & Development to support ongoing team development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of payer contracting experience required
  • Proficient knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 coding systems
  • Experience in payer contracting, including federal payers - Medicare, Medicaid enrollment highly

  • Demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving skills

This position follows the hybrid exempt work plan policy, which requires 3 days in office (M-W) and 2
days remote (TH-F) each week.
