Manager FedEx P&D (Pickup and Delivery) Contractors are individuals or companies that operate FedEx Ground routes under a contractual agreement. They are responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including hiring drivers, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring timely package pickup and delivery within a designated area. Their role is crucial in maintaining FedEx's delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.

To thrive as a Manager for a FedEx P&D Contractor, you need strong operational management skills, logistics experience, and a solid understanding of DOT regulations, usually backed by a high school diploma or higher. Familiarity with route optimization software, fleet management systems, and compliance tracking tools is typically required. Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for managing teams and ensuring efficient delivery operations. These skills ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high service quality in a fast-paced logistics environment.
