Your future role at a glance 
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Facility Name: Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center (PCC) located on Ascension St. Vincent 86th Street Hospital Campus
  • Schedule: PRN; 4–5 shifts per month; schedule flexibility required
  • Shift Options: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
  • Incentives: $125/hour
  • Malpractice: Covered by Ascension Medical Group

Elevate the next generation of physicians while driving healthcare equity. Step into a clinical teaching faculty role within in our busy Resident Faculty Practice. Mentor residents while directly serving a vital, diverse community—championing high-quality care for underserved, uninsured, and underinsured patients. 

  • The Team: Collaborate within a dynamic Resident Faculty Practice comprised of 4 full-time physicians, 5 PRN/hybrid providers, and a dedicated cohort of 48 Internal Medicine residents.
  • Practice Setting: Dedicated, 100% outpatient ambulatory clinic strategically located on our Indianapolis hospital’s campus.
  • Drive Clinical & Educational Excellence: Mentor the next generation of medical professionals by supervising care delivery within the outpatient ambulatory setting.
  • Enhance Patient Access & Equity: Deliver compassionate, high-quality healthcare outcomes to a diverse, vulnerable patient population, directly impacting underserved, uninsured, and underinsured individuals.
  • Advanced EMR Systems: Utilize Athena (PCC outpatient) and Sunrise (inpatient reference) to coordinate care seamlessly across the network.
  • Employment Status: Employed Provider AMG Contract position (W2).
  • Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Internal Medicine; open to qualified new graduates or experienced physicians.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
