About the Role:
The Manager, Event Marketing will support PubMatic's internal and external marketing activities and help execute Americas based event programs. This role is responsible for bringing the PubMatic brand to life through conferences, trade shows, executive meetings, customer events, webinars, sponsorships, and strategic programs that deepen relationships, elevate our market presence, and drive business impact.
The ideal candidate is equal parts event strategist, project manager, and experience creator. They thrive in fast-paced environments, are energized by bringing people together, and have a passion for delivering memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression. Using a results-driven approach, this person will generate creative ideas to enhance event programs while ensuring flawless execution and measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do:
  • Work with the Events team to produce a wide range of events including but not limited to conferences, client entertaining, webinars and both in-person and virtual client events.
  • Own New York based client entertaining events from concept through execution and post-event reporting
  • Research industry events, venues, and vendors; negotiate and obtain quotes; and stay current on emerging event, marketing, and experiential trends to drive innovative programming.
  • Manage the contracting process internally with finance and legal teams
  • Manage event calendars, schedule external meetings, process invoices
  • Support event marketing strategy and logistics, including the creation and oversight of timelines, venue selection, catering, photography, dรฉcor, lighting and sound, talent, transportation, marketing materials, set-up and run-of-show, and contracts and billing
  • Monitor spending against budget forecasts, proactively track all event expenses and submit feedback/reporting to Finance team in real time
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on event KPIs, including attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to measure event performance and recommend optimizations for future programs.
  • Analyze attendee feedback and post-event metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support logistics regarding event sponsorships and other industry initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, venues and partners
  • Promote events to different audiences via digital, print and social media channels
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop invitation lists and follow-up plans to ensure our events reach the right audiences
  • Liaise across teams to ensure alignment among stakeholders throughout the planning and execution process
  • Work with members of the marketing team to create event marketing collateral, campaigns, social promotions and design
  • Assist with additional ad hoc tasks related to event planning, logistics, and team support as needed.

Who You Are:
  • 3-5 years of event marketing, field marketing, event management, or related experience.
  • An insatiable curiosity about culture- be the person who your friends go to for restaurant and activity recommendations
  • Proven experience managing events from strategy and planning through execution and measurement.
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and event operations.
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring performance, evaluating ROI, and translating insights into action.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Splash, Zoom Webinar, Canva, and marketing automation tools
  • Willingness to work evenings and travel as required.

Compensation Disclosure
In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
