Sales & Event Manager Category: Sales & Events Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Events Job Description The Sales & Events Manager is responsible for generating private event business, qualifying incoming leads, building client relationships, and coordinating programming and events that support revenue growth and enhance the guest experience. This role partners closely with internal teams, vendors, community organizations, and clients to plan and execute private events, ticketed events, sponsorships, promotions, and large-scale property events while representing the brand professionally throughout the Las Vegas community. Responsibilities Focus on generating new private event business and fielding incoming leads. Leverage existing client, community, hospitality, and industry relationships to generate new business opportunities, referrals, partnerships, and event leads while actively developing new prospect pipelines. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Coordinate hotel room blocks when needed for private events, group bookings, and property events. Attend networking events and connect with industry organizations in the Las Vegas community to gather contacts and represent the brand. Entertain clients and continue relationship-building efforts to strengthen business opportunities.

Create proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, event timelines, vendor mood boards, and supporting planning documents. Coordinate vendors, decor, entertainment, rentals, and overall event design with clients while supporting the events and programming team. Use sales materials, including banquet menus, pricing guides, property decks, and add-on opportunities to maximize revenue.

Prepare and analyze pre-event pro formas and post-event financial recaps, evaluating event revenue, expenses, labor costs, and overall profitability to maximize event performance and support business decisions. Continue improving tiered banquet menus in partnership with food and beverage, reflecting menu changes and revenue goals. Assist with planning and executing ticketed events, sponsorships, promotions, and large-scale property events property-wide.

For casino events, oversee the overall vision, logistics, vendor coordination, timelines, and guest experience, working with the Food & Beverage/Catering Manager to manage food execution. Communicate event details and expectations clearly with internal departments to ensure smooth planning, execution, and follow-up. Maintain organized documentation, including event records, client correspondence, contracts, and timelines.

Skills / Experience Previous experience in sales, events, hospitality, casino, restaurant, hotel, or entertainment operations preferred. Strong ability to generate leads, qualify business opportunities, and close event sales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing presence.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, vendors, and client expectations at the same time. Ability to create proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, timelines, and event planning documents. Knowledge of banquet menus, pricing, event layouts, AV needs, decor packages, and event add-on opportunities preferred.

Comfortable attending networking events and representing the brand in the community. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require. Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn property-specific systems.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the casino and property. Must be able to move throughout all areas of the property, including back-of-house and public areas. Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and radios as needed.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and varying temperature conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as necessary.
