Job Description
Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Web UX Design & Optimization, to join the Marketing Technology & Operations team, reporting to the Director, Marketing Technology & Operations. This role serves as a dedicated UX partner to Growth Marketing, collaborating closely with Brand, Content, Analytics, and Web Development teams to translate business objectives, audience insights, and performance data into high-performing digital experiences that drive engagement, lead generation, and conversion.
The ideal candidate combines strong UX design expertise with a growth-oriented, data-driven mindset. This individual will design scalable, conversion-focused web experiences, develop reusable design frameworks and landing page templates, and ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performing experiences across devices. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-moving performance-driven environment, balancing speed, quality, brand consistency, accessibility, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Conversion Optimization
- Leverage user behavior data, analytics, and audience insights to identify opportunities and reduce friction throughout key user journeys.
- Lead UX recommendations for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives, including A/B testing and experimentation programs.
- Apply UX best practices and data-driven decision making to continuously improve website and landing page performance.
- Partner with Analytics and Growth Marketing stakeholders to define success metrics, interpret performance data, and translate insights into UX recommendations, testing opportunities, and design improvements.
Design & Experience Development
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various web pages.
- Develop scalable design frameworks, reusable components, and landing page templates that support efficient campaign execution.
- Collaborate closely with Brand to ensure digital experiences are visually consistent, user-centric, and aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to the evolution of web design standards and design system components that support long-term scalability.
Web Experience & Cross-Functional Delivery
- Ensure all digital experiences are responsive, accessible, and optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Partner with developers and Marketing Technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality implementations that prioritize usability, performance, and site speed.
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing, Brand, Content, Analytics, and Web Development stakeholders to deliver high-performing and well-designed web experiences.
- Establish and maintain UX standards that support operational efficiency, scalability, and continuous website improvement.
- Help define UX intake, prioritization, and review processes that improve clarity, operational efficiency, and quality across marketing web requests.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in UX design, digital experience design, or related disciplines.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design, landing page optimization, UX strategy, and measurable business impact.
- Experience supporting digital marketing, demand generation, or other customer acquisition initiatives.
- Proficiency with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, CRO methodologies, and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience designing responsive web experiences and working within design systems.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), web performance best practices, and front-end development considerations.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with web CMS platforms required; experience with Elementor or similar page-building tools preferred.
