Senior Electrical Engineer page is loaded## Senior Electrical Engineerlocations: USA - South Carolina - Clintontime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ49631The **Senior Electrical Engineer** is responsible for the design, validation, and integration of the embedded electrical systems used in low, medium, and high voltage industrial applications. They are capable of developing system hardware architectures in a cross-functional team setting based on Product Requirement Documents and Technical Specifications.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Lead development of electrical hardware design from concept to production, including prototyping, testing, and certification of system components.* Manage and support multiple R&D initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables at each stage.* Translate system-level requirements into electrical architecture specifications.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Production, Marketing, and Engineering to achieve target Stage Gate dates as well as provide recommendations that improve component quality or system performance.* Perform electrical, software, and mechanical troubleshooting as needed. Update system documentation to reflect corrections.* Enhance performance and reliability of existing products through hands-on electrical engineering expertise.**Education and Experience Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.* Minimum of 8 years of embedded electrical hardware development.**Preferred Skills and Abilities*** Experience with electronic circuit schematic capture, simulations, and PCB layout software (Altium preferred).* Working knowledge of AC and DC power electronics, serial communication protocols, and regulatory compliance.* Ability to properly select electrical components and both discrete and integrated hardware modules.* Experience with programming languages C, C++, and operating systems like Linux, FreeRTOs, and MicroC/OS.* Knowledge of PLC software development and CODESYS would be a plus.* Excellent organizational and communication skills.* Experience in Stage Gate or similar New Product Development process.* Ability to manage multiple projects and their milestones while maintaining a high level of quality.* Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.* Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.* Ability to work with diverse teams to achieve the target objectives.**Working Conditions and Physical Demands****Production environment.** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
