Schedule: Full- Time | 80 hours/pay period | Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $79,000 - $85,000/year (exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Hospice Education Manager, you’ll guide the development of our team’s most essential asset - their knowledge. Through orientation, ongoing training, and skill-based development, you’ll foster a culture of clinical excellence and continuous learning across our Hospice services. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, performance improvement, and regulatory teams to ensure staff are not only prepared to meet care standards, but inspired to exceed them.

As a Hospice Education Manager, you will:

  • Design & Deliver Training Programs – Lead onboarding, annual training, regulatory education, and quality initiatives using evidence-based instructional methods tailored to adult learners.
  • Promote Regulatory Compliance & Competency – Support survey readiness through chart audits, skills fairs, mock evaluations, and direct observation. Track CEUs, education files, and role-specific competencies to ensure alignment with federal, state, and agency standards.
  • Leverage Technology to Enhance Learning – Utilize platforms like Relias, Post-Acute Academy, and Elsevier to manage education programs, expand content access, and track completions.
  • Respond to Evolving Education Needs – Identify performance gaps and implement personalized education plans for individuals or teams. Support continuous improvement through close collaboration with leadership and PI teams.
  • Provide Support Across Continuum – Offer hands-on instruction and virtual training across Vivie and Ethos locations. Provide case management support during staffing needs as required.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This job also requires:

  • Current RN licensure in Minnesota and North Dakota
  • Minimum of 1 year of Hospice case management experience
  • Experience in staff education, adult learning, and curriculum development preferred
  • Strong understanding of Hospice care standards, regulatory compliance, and clinical best practices
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle
  • Ability to travel regularly to Vivie and Ethos locations
  • Must complete and pass a state-required background study
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (read, write, speak)
  • Must be able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
