We provide cutting-edge curriculum and simulation tools, which we call Simternships, for universities and higher education institutions. We are helping professors and instructors deliver real-world learning experiences in marketing, business, accounting, and communications. 



Position Overview

At Stukent, we refer to our Account Executive team as Course Consultants. A Course Consultant is driven by Stukent's mission and equips higher education educators with the best materials possible for their courses. The most successful Course Consultants are goal-oriented and are self-motivated to accomplish revenue-based goals for the company. Our Course Consultants are charged with being the "CEO" of their region. To do this, they need to communicate and collaborate well with their territory team, which includes members of the Sales Development, Customer Success, and Portfolio teams.


This role is for a driven, hard-working, self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in sales. This person wants to constantly improve the customer experience, is obsessed with learning and sharing learnings, is persistent and perceptive, collaborative and kind, detail-oriented and diligent, strategic, and has a strong work ethic, and is someone who enjoys more than anything attaining their goal!



Location: On-site in Idaho Falls, Idaho, or Remote in strategic territories. We are looking for reps in Idaho, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hit goals in demos performed, deals closed, and revenue generated for the company on a quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Effectively demo Stukent's Courseware and Simternships.
  • Perform effective discovery to identify the needs of university faculty and department leaders.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively overcome educators' concerns and answer questions.
  • Keep educators interested by connecting via phone calls and sending emails that can benefit them in their decision-making.
  • Drive revenue for the company by helping the educator progress along the sales cycle, including detailed follow-up in the CRM.
  • Ability to determine the best solution for professors and their courses.
  • Ability to work through various budget constraint conversations with different faculty and their departments.
  • Willingness to book your own sales appointments.
  • Using and updating Salesforce to manage your assigned territory.
  • Travel when necessary to campus to progress deals and relationships through the sales cycle in order to hit the goal.
  • Travel expectations are roughly four sales trips per year. It could be more or less, depending on the needs of the territory. 

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively prioritize opportunities.
  • Computer & technical literacy.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
  • Professional attitude & language.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset.
  • Proven track record of previous success in sales.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent sales certifications.
  • Experience in EdTech or Education.
  • Experience in small- to medium-sized companies
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
