Job Summary

This position is responsible for the daily and gameday success of all Tampa Bay Lightning jersey pressing operations. This position will lead a team of Jersey Associates to ensure jerseys are pressed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.

The Jersey Supervisor will work collaboratively with Tampa Bay Sports management and frontline staff to deliver world-class customer service to fans and internal stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with management to develop production schedules and workflow.
  • Train team on press functions, safety procedures, and efficient production techniques.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot heat press machine to minimize downtime and contribute to the timely fulfillment of all orders.
  • Alert management immediately to any machinery issues.
  • Set and meet daily production goals set in conjunction with management to ensure all in-arena stores are full of player jerseys for each game.
  • Fulfill all customized jerseys in a timely manner, including ecommerce, internal, and fan orders.
  • Monitor and report inventory levels on a weekly basis to ensure continuous pressing operations.
  • RFID tag and reprice all player jerseys upon pressing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Provide world-class customer service to fans and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with management to schedule Jersey Associates to ensure daily and game coverage.
  • May be assigned to work in different function of retail or event types as needed, including concerts, hockey games, e-commerce, warehouse, etc.
Supervisory & Management Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of Jersey Associates to create player and customized jerseys, meeting tight deadlines, while ensuring quality and precision in every order.
  • Oversee Jersey Associates during games at Jersey Store to ensure quality control and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of prior jersey pressing experience required.
  • Proven leader who can provide clear direction, ensuring team alignment and efficient workflow execution.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate efficiently with teammates, internal stakeholders, and fans.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced team-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and prioritization.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
  • Available to work all Lightning Hockey Games and daily shifts.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language.
  • Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people.
  • Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
  • Ability to work in loud environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
  • Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures.
