Assistant Manager, E-Commerce
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly collaborative and data-driven Assistant Manager, E-Commerce Beauty, Essentials, Tools & Nails to support the execution and optimization of the online merchandising strategy across site and app experiences. This role plays a critical part in driving customer engagement, conversion, and sales performance through impactful PDP designs, campaign execution, and cross-functional partnership.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic and executional - someone who can balance brand storytelling with commercial performance while operating in a fast-paced environment. This individual will partner closely with category management, DDX, marketing, digital product, supply chain, PPD and Partner brand teams to deliver seamless and compelling customer experiences across the digital ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in e-commerce merchandising while contributing to a highly collaborative and performance-driven digital commerce team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute digital merchandising strategies across homepage, category pages, landing pages, PDPs, and promotional spaces.
  • Support cross-functional campaign execution, product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Optimize product placement, navigation, and assortment visibility to improve conversion, AOV, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor KPIs including traffic, CTR, conversion, sales, and engagement performance; identify opportunities and recommend optimization
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Operational Excellence
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy across merchandising execution, promotional setup, assortment management, and digital content updates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely product launches, promotional updates, pricing changes, and asset management across digital platforms.
  • Support quality assurance processes to ensure a seamless customer experience across desktop and mobile platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with merchandising and development, DDX, marketing, supply chain, creative, and digital product teams to execute integrated customer experiences.
  • Ensure accuracy across promotional setup, pricing, product launches, and digital asset management.
  • Collaborate with digital product and UX teams to improve site functionality and reduce customer friction.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, E-Commerce, or related field preferred.
  • Professional Hair or Beauty industry experience preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally within fast-paced retail or e-commerce organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for customer experience, digital commerce, and trend-driven merchandising.
