Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Lead to maintain
cleanliness and hygiene standards at one of our medical locations in Lorain and surrounding areas. The
ideal candidate will ensure that work spaces are safe, sanitary, and presentable,
supporting a clean environment for employees and visitors alike. Prior janitorial or
custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This role
offers an opportunity to be part of a professional cleaning team committed to
excellence.

Duties:
  • Traveling to multiple locations per shift required.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred; custodial experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
