ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensures the safety of employees and others in the racing and barn areas of HCCTR.
  • Permits authorized persons to enter property.
  • Reports critical situations to appropriate supervisor.
  • Reports to the Security supervisor, any violations, acts or situations which are detrimental to the best interest of HCCTR.
  • Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, etc.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality at all times with respect to the internal functions of the Security department as well as any other information deemed to be confidential.
  • Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
  • Participates in meetings and training as required.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner and reports safety hazards immediately.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of all company and patient information at all times.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.
  • Prepares reports as requested or required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commissions every year of employment.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.   Must have good observation skills.  Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.  Must speak clearly and politely; respond well to questions.  Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.  Previous customer service experience preferred. Displays excellent customer service skills and building positive team spirit.
