Job description


We're looking for a passionate and proactive DC Safety Manager to lead the charge in creating a safe, compliant, and energized work environment at our Distribution Center. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives on solving problems, training teams, and making a real impact, this is your opportunity to join a company that powers the road ahead.
Responsibilities
  • What You'll Do:
  • Lead Safety Training Programs
    Deliver engaging new hire safety training, annual refresher courses, powered industrial vehicle training, and post-incident retraining.
  • Investigate & Innovate
    Conduct thorough accident and injury investigations, facilitate reenactments, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze & Act
    Use injury trend data to develop targeted action plans that reduce incident rates and improve workplace safety.
  • Be the Safety Expert
    Serve as the go-to safety resource for your DC and the regions it supports, providing guidance, training, and injury analysis reports every period.
  • Inspect & Improve
    Perform regular facility inspections, identify hazards, and lead initiatives to eliminate unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Support Security Operations
    Oversee physical and personnel security in the absence of the Loss Prevention Manager, including fire prevention systems and property protection programs.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
    Partner with regional staff, District Managers, and Store Managers to promote safety awareness and drive proactive safety strategies.
  • Lead Special Projects
    Spearhead safety-related projects, from development to evaluation, ensuring continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent formal training in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in Loss Prevention or Occupational Health & Safety
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
  • Passion for safety and a proactive mindset
