We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale warehouse and distribution operations within the food and beverage industry. - Lead and manage day-to-day operations of a distribution center, including inbound/outbound logistics, cross-dock operations, cold and dry storage, and inventory management.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 50–150+ employees, including warehouse staff, supervisors, and support personnel.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, OSHA standards, and corporate policies, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage relationships with carriers, negotiate freight contracts (LTL and full-trailer), and optimize transportation costs.
- Oversee ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Acumatica, Savant, SAP, Manhattan) to improve order flow, reporting, and inventory accuracy.
- Implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet service level agreements for top-tier food & beverage clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing, customer service, and quality assurance to align operations with corporate objectives.
