Job description

Job Summary: This role is intended as an entry-level position to support the sales department.   This role allows relatively inexperienced employees to learn various elements of our sales department and grow into a senior sales position.

 

Essential job functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Provide proposals for controller/sensor replacements for existing customers (generally where we have the documentation, and we can easily determine the scope of work) and follow up on outstanding quotes until either executed or lost. 

2.     Follow up on proposals before expiration date.

3.     Conduct site visits for proposals as necessary in coordination with the Director of Sales / Technical Solutions (in the case of schedule conflicts) or as required to prepare proposals for which you are primarily responsible. 

4.     Provide construction estimate take-offs, spec reviews, highlight drawings, in preparation of bid.

5.     Process parts orders

6.     Review, weekly, completed work orders and PM/Support Agreement reports and follow up on any recommendations offered by the Service Technician.  

7.     Make weekly quality control survey calls for all work orders and PM/Support Agreements completed in the previous week (if a work order or PM/Support Agreement also calls for follow per item 6 above, make the quality control survey call).

8.     Keep the CRM current and updated.

9.     Ensures all work completed meets the Conexus quality standards.

10.  Manages assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.

11.  Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or replacement.

12.  Adheres to all OSHA, Conexus, and customer safety standards.

13.  Completes and submits time sheets and other necessary information.

14.  Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.

15.  Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, such as, but not limited to, lifting over 50 lbs., climbing ladders, bending, stooping and the ability to maneuver within small spaces

16.  Ability to pass security clearances and work in schools, prisons, and government facilities.

17.  Meets minimal travel requirements.

18.  Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required

Experience:

·       Two- or four-year degree in business management, construction, technical, or similarly related field. Degree may be offset by four years’ experience in a technical field.

·       Knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, mechanical system operation and building facilities a plus

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and get things done.

·       Communication skills sufficient to build positive relationships with co-workers, customers and contractors.

·       Valid Driver's License.

·       Ability to speak and write in the English language.
