Job description

SUMMARY

The outside service attendant works in outside golf operations, and with the rest of the golf staff to assure guests have a positive and memorable experience. Primary responsibilities include serving Club Members, Homeowners and Resort guests, golf cart fleet management, staffing bag drop area and maintaining the driving range/practice area. Inside the golf shop, responsibilities include but are not limited to; booking/checking in tee times, operating Point of Sale system, maintain organization in golf shop, sell/restock retail items. The golf operations attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service to all guests. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Resort and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with guests at a high level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

· Provide a high level of customer service to all Club Members, Homeowners, Resort guests and Employees in a friendly and professional manner, while adhering to Resort guidelines and policies.

· Maintain order and cleanliness of working areas, as well as guest facing areas.

· Responsible for the daily operation of the driving range/practice area including but not limited to; setup in the morning/break down in the evening, filling divots on the range tee and practice area, repairing divots on chipping green, maintaining bunkers in practice area, collecting range balls on the driving range and surrounding areas, cleaning range balls with ball washers and restaging golf balls for reuse at the driving range.

· Responsible for maintaining golf cart fleet by cleaning, fueling, staging and storing carts. Reporting any cart issues to manager in a timely manner.

· Tracking/reporting stock of supplies necessary to complete tasks in the cart barn and driving range operations.

· Cooperate with the rest of the golf staff as needed to provide the best possible guest experience.

· Staff golf shop by answering phones, booking tee times, checking in golfers, taking cash/card payments, organizing retail merchandise, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

· Flexible working availability including weekends and holidays

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds

· Detail Oriented

· Must enjoy working and interacting with the public

· Maintain positive working attitude and follow TamFam values

· Must be 16 years of age

· Clean driving record

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Prior work golf course front of house experience a plus. Will train.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
