POSITION SUMMARY
Saints Golf Course- 2601 SE Morningside Blvd. Port St. Lucie, FL 34952
The Saints Golf Course is owned and operated by the City of Port St. Lucie. Located in a tranquil residential neighborhood, the Saints Golf Course consists of an exceptional 18 hole championship course, driving range and practice area. The Saints club houses a fully stocked Pro Shop, a rent- able banquet hall and an on-site restaurant. The course is managed by the City's Parks & Recreation Department and is open to the public. Golfers have the option of either playing the full course or just 9 holes. Every time you tee up the ball, the friendly staff at the Saints is helpful and dedicated to making your vistit an enjoyable one!
Entry-level work assisting with customers' needs and public contact in providing information regarding specific and general services of the Parks and Recreation Department and Saints Golf Course.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Greets and assists guests at the bag-drop area.
  • Assists in informing players of golf course etiquette and pace of play.
  • Collects tickets from players and sends players off according to reservations.
  • Works with walk-ons to secure tee times or fit in with others.
  • Assists in the staging and returning of golf carts and ensures that all carts are accounted for, cleaned/washed as needed, refueled or charged and ready for operations. Pulls carts and maintains work area. Performs general maintenance of work area, cleaning carts and collecting trash Works with cart attendants on range supply and staging.
  • Keeps records of play and enforces regulations.
  • Performs relief duties at driving range in collecting range balls and keeping range ball dispenser full.
  • Remains friendly, courteous and firm but impartial in all contacts with players on the course.
  • Makes every effort to enhance and maintain good public relations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate
  • Volunteer candidate must have a valid Florida drivers license, state identification card, learners permit, or 2 proofs of current address, which may be a utility bill, phone bill, and etc.
