Job description

Who We are:Our mission is to be Chicagoland’s premier gaming and entertainment destination, celebrated for unparalleled hospitality and an unforgettable guest experience. We’re not just a casino—we’re a community where our team members thrive, with countless opportunities for career growth and a workplace culture centered on inclusivity and fun. As we continue to elevate our standards of excellence, we seek dynamic, coachable individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to grow with us. At American Place Casino, every moment is crafted to delight, every opportunity is a pathway to success Who We are looking for:We are seeking a tech-savvy, analytical, and highly collaborative LMS Administrator & T&D Specialist to own and grow our learning ecosystem from the ground up. Because our property utilizes UKG, direct experience with the UKG Learning platform is highly ideal. While this role focuses heavily on backend system architecture, platform building, and compliance reporting rather than a frontline role, it is far from isolated.
We are looking for someone who wants to expand their horizons within a full-service Training & Development department. Beyond managing the system, you will work hand-in-hand with all casino departments to build customized learning paths, collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), assist with curriculum creation, and step into the classroom to facilitate. • Learning Paths: Collaborate with department heads and operational SMEs property-wide to design, map, and automate structured, role-based learning tracks.
  • Reporting & ROI: Build, maintain, and distribute robust training dashboards, compliance tracking reports, and comprehensive ROI evaluations for T&D leadership.
  • Data Integrity: Audit and ensure the absolute integrity of user data, course assignments, completions, and regulatory compliance records within the platform.
  • T&D Support: Actively participate in other facets of the T&D department, including program design, content creation, and live classroom facilitation.
  • System Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for system inquiries, troubleshooting, user provisioning, platform upgrades, and vendor support.
Experience You will need:
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Learning Management System (LMS) administration. Direct, hands-on experience with UKG Learning (UKG Pro/UltiPro) is highly preferred.
  • Previous professional experience working in a Casino, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage (F&B) environment is strongly preferred to help navigate unique 24/7 compliance demands.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skillset, with the ability to translate complex training metrics into clear, actionable ROI reports.
  • Collaborative mindset with an active interest in cross-training within instructional design, SME collaboration, and classroom facilitation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Constantly sit, use hands and wrists for computer and office equipment, hear, and perform eye/hand coordination tasks.
 Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) license.
 Benefits/Perks:
  • Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401K: Matches 50% of your contribution, up to 4% of eligible contribution
  • Educational Tuition Reimbursement
  • Paid Time Off
  • Ventra Program, EAP programs, etc.
Salary Range:
  • $50,000-$82,500
