Job description

Job Summary:

  • Manages, designs and executes project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders; collaborates with appropriate colleagues for administrative and logistics support; and utilizes Project Management skills, tools and methods to ensure a successful project completion. Uses data-based methods to ensure quantitative project measurement, reporting and sustainability of project results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads multiple projects from assignment or ideation to completion; facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; works with business stakeholders to establish quantifiable project goals and deliverables; designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones and tracks performance against timeline and full completion of deliverables. 
  • Utilizes project management skills and Quality tools to identify project issues and/or risks, works with team members and others to resolve them and tracks resolution using data visualization and communication tools. 
  • Utilizes Project Management and Data Visualization and Communication tools and methods to monitor and communicate full project status to the project team. Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and project data analysis; collaborates or leads in the design and development of project plans and timelines. 
  • Manages project risk; uses Quality tools to identify areas of ris; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions to mitigate or eliminate risk. Documents and shares team lessons learned and project management best practices with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the current projects and development of Project Management excellence. 
  • Maintains project notes, databases, and other records in easiest and most accessible formats (digitally); monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholder on status of specific project and assignments using Data Visualization and Communication tools. 
  • Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through the various stages of the project using appropriate tools and methods; provides Project Management coaching and guidance to project team members.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

  • College, university, or equivalent Bachelors degree or experience equivalent is required. Quality Green Belt certified or equivalent. 
    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 


Experience: 

  • Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience required. Project or team leadership experience preferred.
