Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Harrisburg, PA [REMOTE ROLE, with occasional ONSITE]
Duration: 18 Months (Extension Possible)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business decision-making through data-driven insights. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, performing advanced analytics, and delivering actionable recommendations through data visualization and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder Engagement & Project Management
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business strategies, objectives, and analytical needs
- Translate business requirements into structured analytical approaches
- Lead analytics projects from initiation through completion
- Serve as a key liaison for risk and performance insights across assigned business areas
Data Collection & Validation
- Acquire, compile, and manage structured and unstructured datasets
- Validate data quality, accuracy, and integrity prior to analysis
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze historical and current data to identify trends, patterns, and risk insights
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems
- Validate analytical methodologies used by peers
Visualization & Reporting
- Develop and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and presentations
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Utilize visualization tools to enhance decision-making
Process Development & Optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain recurring reports and analytical processes
- Improve efficiency and scalability of data workflows
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Share best practices and contribute to team knowledge development
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and analytical techniques
- Participate in special projects and additional assignments as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related field
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data transformations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau (required)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Understanding of risk and performance analysis methodologies
- Experience with value-based prioritization and business analytics frameworks
- Advanced degree (Masterโs or equivalent) preferred
