The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms and integration tools and is comfortable working across the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to analytics and optimization.

RESPONSIBILITES
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support business reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses and analytical data models to enable accurate, accessible, and actionable insights.
  • Integrate data from internal and external sources using APIs, flat files, database connections, and modern ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to understand data needs and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend business intelligence, analytics, and data solutions that align with organizational needs and long‑term technology strategy.
  • Ensure data is accurate, consistent, secure, reliable, and performant across platforms and systems.
  • Develop and maintain data solutions that support reporting, business intelligence, data science, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a hybrid data and analytics environment that supports immediate business needs while advancing the organization’s adoption of modern AI and machine learning capabilities.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and system performance to ensure reliable data delivery.
  • Apply sound technical judgment when selecting data integration approaches, balancing speed to delivery, scalability, maintainability, and long‑term modernization.
  • Establish and maintain data architecture, pipeline, integration, and development standards and documentation.
  • Lead and manage offshore teams of developers, analysts, engineers, and administrators to support data and analytics initiatives.
  • Oversee data and analytics projects from solution design and development through implementation and delivery.
  • Define and execute an operational strategy that effectively supports MOREgroup’s diverse data audiences, including business users, technology and digital teams, shadow technology teams, and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reduce reliance on shadow technology solutions, and create more consistent and scalable enterprise data capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, with 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data integration, data science, or data warehousing.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating offshore data teams, including data engineers, analysts, and administrators across multiple time zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non‑technical stakeholders.
