JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be required to provide the support to the clients fleet support. Diagnostics data quality clean-up initiative, with operations out of client West Chester office. You will be required to will perform a wide range of basic tasks to support data cleansing, governance and documentation. These tasks include but are not limited to data cleanup & CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Deactivate), root-cause investigation and resolution of flight data quality issues. Of paramount importance is ensuring data quality issues are resolved efficiently and quickly, with complete ownership taken for the management of issues.


Responsibilities

  • Identify data quality issues from metrics and data quality dashboard. Evaluate the scope and pervasiveness of data quality issues and isolate probable causes
  • Investigate flight data quality issues to understand root cause, potential solutions, and communicate findings with stakeholders, including identifying solutions, evaluating scope, isolating probable sources, and proposing solutions.
  • Cleanse poor quality data from the pipeline or implement data quality solutions.
  • Project manage the flight master data CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Deactivate) process and make the approved changes to the flight master data.
  • Monitor new requests in the flight master CRUD request form. Input approved changes in the flight master data system.
  • Document outcomes and investigation process in a standard operating procedure (SOP)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in data quality management, data analysis, or are related field.
  • Proven experience in data cleansing, data validation, and data quality improvement projects.
  • Experience with client and stakeholder management.
  • Prior experience with data cleansing and data management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Proficiency writing basic software code with regular expression logic.
  • Understanding of data flow and structure between different databases and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify data quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data quality management.
  • Patience, understanding, and resilience in managing complex situations and competing priorities.
  • Ability to meet multiple demanding deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, presentation abilities, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with process improvements and driving process change.
  • Experience in managing or supporting data quality projects. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Proficiency writing basic software code with regular expression logic.
  • Relevant certifications in data quality management, data analysis, or related fields. (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Six Sigma).
  • Understanding of data flow and structure between different databases and technologies.
  • Acute attention to detail, excellent organizational and workload prioritization skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups.
  • High level of coordination and responsiveness to requests within a short turnaround time.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000.
