Program Overview:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data analysts will work with government customers across the globe to determine their current capabilities as a data-driven organization, conducting interviews with technical staff to generate meaningful data points for AFSOC.
  • Data Analysts are responsible for querying, engineering, and analyzing data in accordance with data management policies to support mission and business functions and tasks.
  • Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Collect customer requirements
  • Determine technical issues
  • Work with engineering teams to design algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go, and other known programming languages
  • Support the creation of data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data
  • Improve the quality of data use and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
  • Work collaboratively with other data coworkers to produce qualitative and quantitative data that support client products


Requirements:

  • Clearance: At least a Secret clearance is required to start
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience with data analytics, research, or related IT experience and familiarity with data analytics, having worked with gathering or managing data sets
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM with a preference towards Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
