Role Overview
Pratt & Whitney's Cybersecurity organization is seeking a Cybersecurity & Compliance Leader (CCL) to serve as a strategic partner to assigned business domains.
This role operates at the intersection of cyber risk, compliance, and business operations. The CCL ensures enterprise cybersecurity priorities are effectively understood, adopted, and executed within the business while providing leadership with clear visibility into risk posture.
As a trusted advisor and business-facing liaison, the CCL aligns cybersecurity and compliance requirements with business objectives, drives risk governance, and supports readiness for internal and external regulatory expectations. This role is a key contributor to Cyber Mission Assurance and the broader enterprise cybersecurity posture.
Note: This is not a hands-on operational role. The CCL drives risk ownership, accountability, and business action-ensuring cybersecurity enables mission success, operational continuity, and customer trust.
What You Will Do:
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for cyber and compliance risk within assigned business domains, ensuring risks are clearly understood, prioritized, and owned by the business
  • Provide an integrated view of risk across IT, OT, cloud, engineering, suppliers, and regulatory environments, and guide informed decision-making
  • Partner with business leaders to embed cybersecurity into strategies, programs, and major initiatives, aligning security requirements with business objectives
  • Translate enterprise cybersecurity strategy, standards, and roadmaps into actionable, business-relevant plans
  • Lead governance activities including risk reviews, compliance readiness discussions, and program touchpoints, ensuring follow-through on mitigation actions and risk decisions
  • Support audit and regulatory readiness by identifying control gaps, coordinating remediation, and ensuring required documentation is complete and accurate
  • Communicate cyber risks, policies, and changes in clear, business-friendly terms; build strong cross-functional relationships to influence outcomes
  • Define and track key performance indicators, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in cyber posture in partnership with technical teams
  • Promote a culture of security, accountability, and operational excellence aligned with RTX CORE principles

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Experience across multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., architecture, compliance, vulnerability management, incident response, application security)

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence and collaboration
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Strong business acumen and ability to integrate cybersecurity into business planning and operations

Work Location
This is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
