Job description

SAP Security Consultant – Remote (CST)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 12 Months

The Application Security Analyst will be responsible for the security development, implementation, and maintenance of client applications. This includes working with business areas and project teams to identify security requirements, developing plans to meet those requirements, maintaining current and accurate documentation, and troubleshooting and resolving security issues when identified. You will also be responsible for understanding the risks and compliance issues facing global implementations today and be able to help define solutions to address such risks and issues.

Duties
  • Gathers requirements from internal clients and provides security and technical expertise to support the development of security objects to satisfy business requirements.
  • Follows client development processes and procedures to develop security plans that meet business requirements while adhering to the principle of least privilege.
  • Develops project plans, breaks down structure and task dependencies, communication plans, etc. as needed. Documents, and executes test protocols.
  • Represents the security team in relevant change control processes and prepares and maintains documents as needed.
  • Works with business areas and project teams to troubleshoot issues and identify and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Interfaces with business, project, vendor, and IT personnel to understand application changes that may impact security and develops plans to assess impact and implement appropriate actions.
  • Supports the security administration function to ensure security changes are appropriately incorporated into access administration processes.
  • Understand compliance requirements that may impact security and work with business areas and project teams to develop security solutions that address these requirements.
  • Help execute remediation plans when audit issues and concerns are raised by internal or external auditors.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Experience in GRC 12. Implementation and support.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA security implementation including Fiori tile and Group development.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels (management, technical, user).
