Job Description

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's IT & Digital Team is seeking a Senior IT End User Services Consultant to support our North America Crop Protection business, with a primary focus on our Durham, NC location, and the flexibility to support additional U.S. sites, as needed.
In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted IT partner to business stakeholders, driving the delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of end-user technology services. You will collaborate across regional and global teams, lead local IT initiatives, and help create a seamless technology experience that enables business success.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary IT partner for North America stakeholders, building strong relationships with business leaders, end users, vendors, and global IT teams.
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend technology solutions that support strategic objectives.
  • Lead local IT projects and contribute to regional and global technology initiatives.
  • Manage and continuously improve end-user services, ensuring alignment with Syngenta IT standards, governance, and security requirements.
  • Monitor service performance, vendor delivery, and escalations, driving root-cause resolution and service excellence.
  • Deliver training, documentation, webinars, and user support to improve technology adoption and productivity.
  • Utilize ServiceNow and other service channels to manage requests and support business operations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, procurement, and workplace technology teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Support operational activities, such as service reviews, hardware and software lifecycle management, budgeting, purchase orders, and inventory planning.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT services, stakeholder management, and end-user technology solutions.
  • Experience leading IT projects and/or programs.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise IT systems, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and geographies.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and drive results.
