Reconstruction Project Manager and Estimator (Write & Run) - Restoration

About the Role

We are an experienced and growing water, mold, and fire restoration company expanding into full reconstruction services. We are looking for a seasoned Reconstruction Project Manager/Estimator who can own projects from initial estimate through completion. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable working with insurance adjusters and claims, and take pride in delivering projects on time and on budget, we want to talk.
What You'll Do

Estimate and manage residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects (water, fire, mold, wind)
Prepare detailed bids, scopes of work, budgets, and purchase orders using Xactimate and other industry tools
Manage subcontractors and vendor installations from kickoff to closeout
Monitor job cost reports and keep projects at or under budget
Create and update project schedules; track progress and correct deviations
Coordinate field change orders, materials, and contract documents
Work closely with insurance adjusters and claims teams throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with the General Manager on bid requirements and project priorities
Ensure all personnel follow safety regulations and company procedures
What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in construction or restoration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Hands-on experience with Xactimate estimating (required)
Experience as a non-vendor or TPA contractor (preferred)
Solid understanding of the insurance claims process and working with adjusters
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills you'll be the face of the project to clients, subs, and insurers
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications

WRT and/or ASD certification
Experience with Contractor Connection, PSA, Code Blue, or similar platforms
Existing vendor and subcontractor relationships in the San Antonio market
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
