About the Role
This role is suited for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Manager, Content Strategy & SEO to support our ecommerce beauty business across Laura Mercier, bareMinerals, and BUXOM. In this role, you will drive content and SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, optimize content for search, and create engaging, conversion-focused customer experiences.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Marketing, CRM, and Ecommerce, to ensure content aligns with business goals and delivers a consistent brand story across channels. This role also plays a key part in evolving how we scale content through AI-driven workflows and improving visibility across emerging search surfaces, including LLM-powered platforms.
This role is ideal for a content-savvy individual with a strong eye for storytelling, a data-driven mindset, and curiosity for how content and search are evolving.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Launch Storytelling
  • Own content strategy across launches, promotions, and evergreen moments, translating marketing plans into clear site and SEO content execution. Ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across all DTC touchpoints.

Creative Briefing & Asset Planning
  • Develop clear, actionable briefs and define asset requirements for all site content, including PDPs, landing pages, and campaigns. Partner with Creative to ensure assets are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

Content Operations & Workflow Management
  • Own content workflows across tools (e.g., Asana), ensuring visibility into timelines, deliverables, and priorities. Maintain centralized documentation, including briefs, trackers, and calendars, to support scalable execution.

SEO & Emerging Search Optimization
  • Own SEO content strategy across PDPs, landing pages, blogs, and FAQs, partnering with agency to guide execution and performance. Optimize for emerging search surfaces, including AI-driven results, to improve visibility and traffic.

AI & Scalable Content Production
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., Tolstoy, HUE) to develop scalable, AI-driven content workflows. Define scope and output requirements to efficiently scale content production across channels.

Performance & Reporting
  • Track and analyze SEO and content performance, translating data into actionable insights and optimizations. Support ongoing reporting on organic growth, content impact, and emerging trends.

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner closely with Creative, CRM, Ecommerce, and Marketing teams across multiple brands to ensure alignment on content strategy and execution. Maintain a cohesive approach while preserving each brand's distinct voice, positioning, and business priorities.

Key Stakeholders
Work closely with the creative, marketing, and ecommerce teams to ensure alignment on content strategy and execution. Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure that content supports key product and commercial initiatives.
Qualifications
Content Creation Skills: Strong writing skills with the ability to craft content that balances SEO objectives with compelling storytelling. Experience writing for ecommerce or beauty brands preferred.
SEO & Emerging Search Knowledge: Proven experience implementing SEO strategies and optimizing content for search. Familiarity with technical SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) and interest in emerging search trends, including AI-driven and LLM-based discovery.
Content Strategy & Briefing: Experience developing content briefs and collaborating with creative and production teams. Strong organizational skills to manage shot lists, asset requirements, and content timelines.
AI Content Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper) to support scalable content creation. Ability to balance automation with quality, brand voice, and performance.
Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance, evaluate SEO impact, and identify optimization opportunities. Experience with Google Analytics, GSC, and reporting tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across Creative, CRM, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams. Strong communication skills to ensure clarity, alignment, and execution.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Familiarity with Shopify
  • Experience working with SEO agencies or external content partners

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining compensation. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications
The pay range for this position is $80,500- $100,500. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
