Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of data center construction projects, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget
  • Develop requests for proposals (RFPs), manage project budgets, and oversee pre-bid activities
  • Coordinate and supervise design-build contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee all design phases, review plans and specifications for constructability, and proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, including procurement timelines
  • Conduct regular project meetings, document milestones, and provide consistent project reporting
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction throughout the project
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and participate in commissioning and project closeout processes
  • Manage contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement processes
  • Review contractor billing, perform site walks, and verify project progress
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce OSHA requirements
  • Drive process improvements, cost savings, and lessons learned initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor project team members, including Superintendents, Project Coordinators, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by project needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience managing construction projects
  • Expertise in civil, structural, architectural (CSA), and mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) construction management
  • Experience with data center projects preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Proficient in PROCORE construction management software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards; OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
