Job Title: Neurosurgery Spine & Trauma Neurosurgeon
Overview:
StaffMed Health Partners is seeking a highly qualified Neurosurgeon specializing in Spine and Trauma to join a leading hospital-based trauma service in Ocala, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to practice within the region’s only ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, serving a diverse community of over 1 million residents across five counties. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and long-term career growth while providing exceptional neuro-trauma care in a rewarding, community-oriented setting.
Required Skills:
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurosurgery
  • Spine Fellowship training and trauma neurosurgery experience preferred
  • Experience managing neuro-trauma alerts, trauma consults, and follow-up clinics
  • Ability to participate in peer review, quality rounds, and trauma program improvement initiatives
  • Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
  • Supportive team player with excellent communication skills

Education and Experience:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Specific experience in trauma neurosurgery and fellowship training in Spine is preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Inpatient-only, hospital-based trauma neurosurgery role
  • Ability to share coverage with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon
  • Strong APP support and a fully dedicated trauma service line
  • License and certification requirements as applicable
