ABC Warehouse is growing our team at our Main Warehouse in Pontiac, Michigan, and is presently seeking a dependable, organized and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in a warehouse environment as a Warehouse Office Associate (Midnights).


Founded by Gordon “Gordy” Hartunian with a single store in Centerline, Michigan, ABC Warehouse has been family-owned and operated since 1963 and has grown to become one of the Midwest’s largest and most successful retailers offering appliances, TVs, electronics, mattresses, and furniture. With 600+ employees and 42 storefront locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, we continue to expand our footprint and remain fiercely dedicated to providing our customers with low prices, top name-brands, and excellent service.


In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our warehouse operations by coordinating receiving appointments, processing ASN paperwork, customer invoices, and receiving purchase orders in accordance with company procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working overnight hours until work is complete ( approximately 10:30 pm – 7:00 am) in a warehouse environment, can work independently, and has a strong attention to detail while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.  


Warehouse Office Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform accurate data entry and review documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Match order numbers and supporting documentation to ensure accurate processing
  • Schedule receiving appointments and assist with receiving-related paperwork
  • Process ASN paperwork, customer invoices, and receiving purchase orders according to company procedures
  • Understand, follow, and maintain established warehouse procedures and processes
  • Assist with additional warehouse office tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management


Warehouse Office Associate Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
  • Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Comfortable using standard office equipment including phones, computers, and calculators
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work as a team
  • Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, a plus
