Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible to participate in the day to day execution of branch warehouse operations.

  • Participate in all functions and activities related to the parts order management process including but not limited to receiving, system posting, shelving/storing, picking/pulling, inventory control, and shipping parts and components in accordance with all prescribed quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect, determine reusability/residual value, and process customer's core component returns for credit and shipment in accordance with prescribed re-manufacturer guidelines and company policy.
  • Fabricate customized hydraulic hoses to specification, using bulk materials in accordance with all prescribed quality and safety standards.
  • Operate ladder and material handling equipment (i.e. forklift and pallet jack) to pull and transfer parts and components to designated areas for customer delivery or warehouse stocking in accordance with all prescribed safety standards.
  • Maintain work area, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain a professional and proper personal appearance at all times.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of combined work experience as a warehouse associate in a parts sales and service shop or similarly applicable environment.
  • Proficient verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Good problem solving skills, detail oriented, and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good computer skills using related information system applications (ex: SIS, DBS).
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced service environment.
  • Ability to safely use material handling equipment and wear company required PPE (protective eyewear, gloves, harnesses, footwear) during a shift assignment that could last between 8 and 10 hours.
  • Ability to work standard five-day work schedule, including daily overtime, and occasional weekend hours as necessary.
