Job description

Job Summary:
As a Planner, you will oversee the process from delivery check-in through to the final trip closure.
You will coordinate all activities associated with the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring they
align with customer expectations, service levels, and company standards. This dual-role position
splits time between planning operations and transportation support, allowing for a diverse and
impactful contribution to the daily success of the site. You'll help foster a positive, safety-focused
culture while driving key performance goals such as productivity, accuracy, and customer
satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan and manage inbound and outbound dock activity in alignment with customer
requirements and internal targets.
Coordinate product flow by checking in deliveries and closing out final trips.
Work with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Use MLS and other systems to check in/out haulers and manage transportation records.
Initiate and close outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and system
updates.
Organize and file all shipment-related paperwork, including archiving full file boxes.
Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to meet delivery
schedules.
Support timely and accurate loading/unloading of freight by working directly with carrier
reps and warehouse staff.
Assist in maintaining the accuracy and flow of goods in and out of the high bay storage.
Ensure compliance with product handling standards (e.g., temperature control, damage
checks).
Support general warehouse operations as needed, including:
Helping colleagues with tasks.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Intermediate or higher computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
