The Warehouse Operator I supports daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and system transactions. Employees may be cross-trained across different warehouse functions based on operational needs while following all safety and quality procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Receive shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc)
Document shipping errors and damaged goods
Enter incoming goods into our computer system
Complete training requirements, identify and follow guidelines/procedures to comply with Health Canada regulations on the medical devices and drugs as outlined on the Quality Management System
Conduct physical count for inventory
Acts as back up for Equipment Receiving as required
Keep a clean and safe working environment
Ensures a safe work environment by understanding and following safety procedures and reporting injuries or unsafe acts
Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Skill Requirements


Education and experience


2+ years of experience in a warehousing or working environment
Post-secondary education is preferred
Forklift certification is an asset
Key competencies


Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
Basic numeracy and recording abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Oral communication skills
Keen eye for detail
Ability to lift or carry products weighing up to 50 pounds

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$36,900.00 - $55,300.00 Annual
