Job description

Location: Mukwonago, WI

Schedule: M-F 6:30a.m. - 3:00p.m.

As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for

  • Support the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing warehouse operations, including performance, inventory, supplies, and resource utilization.
  • Assist with workforce planning and daily warehouse activities.
  • Lead Material Handlers in maintaining inventory accuracy and the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor daily schedules, address operational delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support initiatives related to safety, training, preventive maintenance, cost reduction, staffing, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
  • Verify employee attendance and manage shift staffing requirements.
  • Prioritize workloads and assign tasks to Material Handlers.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and escalate issues to the Shift Supervisor when necessary.
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold standards of conduct.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Highschool Diploma/GED

Experience & Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems; experience with material management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting employee training.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Experience supporting housekeeping and safety programs.
  • Ability to assist with performance evaluations and workload distribution.
  • Participation in quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
