Warehouse Assistant Manager

C&S Vending Warehouse Assistant Manager oversees daily warehouse, logistics, facility and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient product distribution through effective inventory control, quality standards, staff management, and operational excellence. This hands-on leadership role supports the Logistics Supervisor by organizing workflows, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining a safe, productive, and customer-focused warehouse environment.
We are looking for a proactive problem solver who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and serves as a trusted resource for the team. The ideal candidate leads by example, works alongside team members when needed, effectively delegates tasks, and helps drive continuous improvement. Our warehouse culture is built on efficiency, accuracy, flexibility, teamwork, and the use of state-of-the-art technology to support success.
Manage inventory transactions/warehouse transfers process warehouse-to-route and route-to-route in the warehouse management system. Ensure orders are accurately picked, staged, and loaded onto the correct route trucks while monitoring pick lines and loading operations.
Supervise 16+ warehouse associates by providing coaching, training, and ongoing guidance to support employee performance, development, and success. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve productivity, accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.

Work Schedule Sunday 8:00am - Finish, Monday - Thursday 12:30pm - Finish (40 - 45 hours per week).
Warehouse Hours: Sunday - Friday
Sunday hours 8:00am to Finish (approx. 6:00pm)
Monday - Thursday hours 5:00am to Finish (approx. 9:00pm)
Friday hours 6:00am to Finish (approx. 3:00pm)
Competitive wage starting at $28.00 - $33.50 per hour depending on previous experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Vision; company paid Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, sick), Paid Holidays, 401(k) match, and Fresh Food Discounts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse leadership, supervisory experience or related field.
Experience in warehouse, retail warehouse operations, or other logistical support environments.
Computer/Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with warehouse management software (WMS).
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure data entry matches counts
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and distribution processes
Requires a valid driver's license
Forklift certified or capable of being certified
Requires walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching, grabbing and squatting.
Ability to lift up to 54lbs and push/pull 95lbs
